Compensation Guide:

Base Salary - USD $135,000 to $185,000 (+bonus based on performance)

Our client an established civil litigation law firm is seeking a civil litigation defense attorney for its Los Angeles location. This role is ideal for a licensed California attorney eager to grow their expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment. The firm offers continuous training, formal mentoring, flexible schedules, hybrid or remote work options, and comprehensive parental and family leave policies to ensure our attorneys can thrive both professionally and personally.

The Role:

Reporting directly to a partner and, based on your experience, you may be the primary attorney managing your cases. Responsibilities include:

• Handling court appearances, managing discovery, conducting depositions, preparing and arguing motions, participating in mediations and pre-trial preparations, and potentially engaging in trial work. You will also provide regular updates to clients. 

Remote flexibility may be considered for strong CA - based candidates.

Very base salary based on legal experience, paid medical insurance including plans with zero contribution from you, a dental plan, vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability insurance, and long-term disability insurance. We also offer a 401k plan with employer matching that is vested as soon as you start. 

In addition to the base salary, we offer a generous bonus program based on annual billing metrics, which is generally prepaid throughout the year. We also provide an annual bonus based on job performance. The firm offers a partnership track and assistance as needed for client development

Skills and Certifications:

A minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience after graduating law school. -essential
