12 month fixed term contract

Hybrid working (2-3-days in office) - Leeds

Role

The successful candidate will provide support to the Revenue team, assisting in the running of the firm’s billing function. They will be based in our Leeds office (with hybrid working 2-3 days) but will support the practice groups in all of the European and some additional overseas offices

Responsibilities   

• Preparing bills, credit notes, pro formas and detailed billing reports, and supporting partners where required 
• Dealing with time and disbursement write offs and intra matter transfers
• Liaising closely with partners, fee earners and Revenue Co-Ordinators to help control unbilled time and costs
• E-billing invoices to client systems 
• Maintaining a diary of billing events 
• Liaising with the Billing Manager to make sure they are aware of any issues arising to maintain service flow
• Other duties related to accounts as assigned by Management

Skills

• Experience using an Elite billing system, 3E experience is an advantage
• Previous legal knowledge/law firm background is preferable
• Experienced in billing in multi currencies internationally
• Experience in Ebilling e.g Legal Tracker / Tymetrix, / Counsel Go
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Team player
• Highly organised & efficient, with a strong focus on service delivery
• High level of attention to detail
• Flexible and adaptable
• Assertive and professional
• Good time management
• Proactive
• Excel and Word (advanced level)
